THE IMPACT OF AGEING ON SPEECH PRODUCTION

The talk on Världsröstdagen April 14th, titled ”The Impact of Ageing on Speech Production”, will discuss age-related physiological changes. These changes affect both larger body movements (such as walking) as well as smaller movements, which are involved in speech production. The talk will focus on how ageing affects our speech system on different levels, such as sound quality, speech articulation, and speech breathing.
